I totally agree. I have always said that I think the GD owe everything to the Godchaux's. SUre, they would have made it anyhow, but without Kieth's jazzy influence who knows how the sound would have developed. Pairing up with the Godchaux's was a quintessential moment in GD history imo. It changed everything.
